What to Expect

How it Works

What you need now is relief.

I’m here to help you simplify the process as you begin your journey.

1

Step One

We will schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation so that we can both make sure we feel like a good fit for working together.

2

Step Two

Review and sign consent forms. If applicable, I will verify that I am in-network with your health insurance plan, then I will reach out to schedule our first session.

3

Step Three

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer virtual sessions to clients.

Online therapy is becoming increasingly popular as it lessens the pressure of face-to-face interactions and increases accessibility to services.

  • During the initial session, I gather background information, family history, and discuss goals for therapy. Following sessions are used to learn more about you so that we can dive deeper into the issues at hand.

  • It’s completely normal to feel nervous about starting therapy. Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but you’re not alone.

Think of therapy like going to the gym for your emotional well-being. Just as building physical strength takes time, repetition, and intention, therapy helps strengthen your ability to navigate stress, process past experiences, and respond to life with more clarity and resilience.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. You’re not expected to know the “right” things to say or do — that’s what we’ll work through together.

  • My work includes long-term treatment. I ask for a 3 month commitment of weekly therapy. I find that meeting weekly in the early stages of therapy can really help us build momentum and establish a strong foundation for our work together.

  • My rate is $150 for a 50-minute session.

Sliding scale options are available upon request and the amount is determined by my sole discretion.

  • Yes. I am in-network with Kaiser, Aetna, Cigna, and Optum/UnitedHealthcare plans.

I can provide a superbill for out-of-network clients upon request.

  • I require 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Late cancellations and no shows are subject to my full rate.

If multiple cancellations occur, we will work together to find a better time in your schedule to meet.

Ready to embrace change?

Change doesn’t have to happen all at once—it can begin with a single conversation. In therapy, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, gently exploring what’s been weighing you down, and uncovering what’s possible.
